Anselm Beach

Anselm Beach is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He is dedicated to excellence in public service and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the U.S. Army, and the Federal Government. Anselm currently serves as the Director of the Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Department of Homeland security (DHS). He is responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal EEO laws, regulations, and for providing a policy framework for diversity and inclusion. Prior to coming to CBP, Anselm served in a dual capacity as Chief of Diversity and EEO at the Washington DC, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Lead EEO Officer for Veterans Integrated Service Network 5. He received the Secretary of Veterans Affairs Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Excellence Award for 2013.
Anselm is a graduate of the DHS Senior Executive Service (SES) Candidate Development Program and CBP Leadership Institute. Anselm has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Maryland, University College, and a Master of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas. Anselm is currently a PhD Candidate in Organizational Development at Cabrini University.
