Ms. MacKenzie used her broad range of legal and problem-solving skills to support the successful stand-up of the first new Army Four Star Command in 40 years.
In her current role, Ms. MacKenzie has focused on improving the attorney experience from recruitment through retirement. She streamlined the hiring process, led the creation of an attorney onboarding program, and fosters an environment that encourages professional development to support each attorney’s personal and professional goals. Her quarterly town halls allow her to recognize attorney achievements and provide opportunities for her to give and receive feedback on hot topics within the office.

Bukley Manager of the Year Award and the Joyce I. Allen Attorney of the Year Award.
Ms. MacKenzie lives in Huntsville, Ala., with her Army husband and their dog and cat. While she will greatly miss being home with her family, she plans to make the most of her year in Washington, D.C., by experiencing all of the art, theater, and sporting events the city has to offer.
